If you're looking for a role where you're trusted to run major grocery and retail accounts with real autonomy, in a category that's seeing strong and sustained growth, this is worth a closer look.
We're looking for a National Account Manager who enjoys working closely with major UK grocers and high street retailers, and takes pride in building relationships that deliver steady, long term growth.
This is not a role where you simply maintain accounts. You'll have the freedom to decide how your accounts develop, managing key national retail partnerships and building plans that genuinely move things forward. With health, wellness and nutrition continuing to grow across UK retail, there is plenty of headroom to build distribution, expand ranges and develop meaningful joint plans with your customers.
You'll be joining a well-established UK business with a strong track record in nutritional products, supplying both branded and private label ranges into major retailers across the UK and beyond. With over 20 years in the market and a presence in thousands of stores globally, the business combines a close knit team feel with the scale and capability of a leading European supplier.
It's a place where decisions can be made quickly, ideas are welcomed, and you're trusted to get on with things without unnecessary layers of approval. There is a clear focus on quality, innovation and understanding what retail customers actually need, which makes conversations with buyers far more straightforward.
Alongside managing your core retail accounts, you'll have the opportunity to develop new business across convenience, forecourts and wholesale. This is not about constant cold selling, but about recognising where there is genuine potential and acting on it.
Day to day, you will build strong joint plans with your customers, agree promotions that deliver, and look for ways to grow distribution and range. You'll also take ownership of revenue, margin and spend, with the freedom to make decisions that support long term growth.
You'll be part of a collaborative team and stay close to senior stakeholders, so you won't feel removed from decision making or direction.
We're looking for someone with FMCG account management experience across either Grocery or Discount channels, who is comfortable in commercial conversations and confident managing sizeable accounts.
The role is based in West Yorkshire, so although we are open on location, you will have at least weekly travel to the area, which can be fully expensed.
If you want a role where you can take real ownership of key accounts, work in a category with genuine momentum, and see the results of what you put in, this is well worth a conversation.
Every applicant gets a response. Successful applicants will be contacted by phone in the w/c 11th May. 2 stage interview process to be concluded by end of May.
