Location: North Shields

Hours: Flexibility for 15 to 20 hours per week, predominantly Monday to Friday with work hours between 8am and 4pm.

Rate Of Pay: £13.50 per hour

The role will be to support a neurodivergent parent, in their early 30s with a nursery aged child. No personal hygiene care involved with this role.

The role requires:

  • Assisting with timekeeping and organizing daily routine
  • Managing household cleaning
  • Ensuring medication is taken
  • Planning and preparing meals
  • Occasional assistance with cooking
  • Facilitating and providing support in leaving the house, especially with nursery attendance, shopping and appointments

Work hours to be focused on morning nursery drop-off support, with a once-per-week Wednesday 4pm finish to assist with workplace attendance; this can involve split-shift and coordinating with successful employee availability.

Previous experience with Autism or ADHD is ideal but candidates with understanding and a friendly, organized personality is most important. A full driving licence is desirable.

The successful candidate will be required to complete a DBS application. This will be funded by the employer.
