Driver essential

We have a 30-year-old lady who is a wheelchair user who lives with her partner and their little dog, who suffers from anxiety, PTSD and depression. She also suffers from a condition that causes abdominal pain. Due to mental health, this lady rarely gets out of the house and would like support with small outings, such as going for a coffee, shopping and walking the dog. She would also like assistance with everyday tasks, such as cooking, cleaning, dressing and bathing, and organising the home.

Her condition varies from day to day, having some good days and some bad days, so the PA would need to have a level of empathy and understanding due to the complexity of her health conditions. This lady’s physical health can be unpredictable, a flare-up in her condition can mean plans would have to be changed at short notice.

The PA would be responsible for encouraging and motivating this lady in order to maintain her mental health and wellbeing. She enjoys gaming, baking, crafting, is a dog lover and a Mrs Hinch fan, so enjoys cleaning on her good days.

A female PA is preferable, but this lady is open to either a male or female PA. A driver is essential for this role. At the time of starting their employment, the successful candidate must have permission to work in the U.K.
