We are seeking a kind, caring, and patient support worker to assist Yazan, who has a passion for music and woodworking. The ideal candidate will be a fluent speaker of Arabic or Russian and will be able to provide support in a way that fosters Yazan’s interests and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:- Accompanying Yazan to local groups and support with communications and activities.
- Providing support with daily tasks and routines.
- Encouraging and facilitating Yazan’s hobbies, particularly music and woodworking.
- Driving Yazan to appointments and social activities (a full UK driving licence is required).
- Some personal care.
- Fluency in Arabic or Russian.
- Kind and caring nature.
- A full UK driving licence.
There is a genuine occupational requirement for the holder of this post to be male in accordance with the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014 and Equality Act 2010 schedule 9 paragraphs 1 – 4.
