Responsibilities:
- Provide support and companionship to a child with autism, selective mutism, sensory processing disorder and night-time epilepsy.
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment, assisting with daily activities and routines.
- Encourage and facilitate the child's interests, including visits to cat cafés, zoos, swimming, trampoline parks, cinema, and arts and crafts activities.
- Build a trusting relationship over time, demonstrating patience, flexibility and sensitivity to the child's preferences.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Female applicant only, in accordance with the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014 and Equality Act 2010.
- Must have permission to work in the U.K. at the start of employment.
- Ability to manage medical conditions and provide appropriate support for the child.
