Responsibilities

Assist with social activities such as shopping, meeting family and friends, and attending theatre and local gigs.
Support when out and about and act as a sighted guide.
Provide assistance with daily living and personal care as required.
Respect privacy and maintain confidentiality at all times.
Drive with own vehicle and be physically able to push a wheelchair and load it into the vehicle.

Qualifications

Female, in accordance with the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014 and Equality Act 2010 Schedule 9 paragraphs 1‑4.
Driver’s licence and own suitable vehicle, able to transport a wheelchair.
Good communication skills, friendly, reliable, flexible hours, and a sense of humour.
Good general health and physical ability to push a wheelchair.
Permission to work in the United Kingdom at the start of employment.
