- There is no personal care in this role.
- Daily Living Support: Assistance with social activities and accessing the community.
- Assistance to engage with activities I enjoy at home and outdoors. Places I enjoy include shopping outlets, the gym and cinemas.
- Mobility & Transport: Ensure my safety boarding on and off public transport. Full, clean UK driving licence is essential if you are a driver.

About Me
I am a 15-year-old young girl with developmental delay and I am partially sighted which is corrected with specialist eye wear. I’m looking for an experienced personal assistant to support me access the local community and enjoy activities of my own choice. I enjoy going to the cinema, coffee dates, shopping and attending my local gym. You would support me to engage in these activities and always ensure my safety. I reside with my mum, dad and siblings and we have an active household.
There is a genuine occupational requirement for the holder of this post to be female in accordance with the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014 and Equality Act 2010 schedule 9 paragraphs 1 – 4. At the time of starting their employment, the successful candidate must have permission to work in the U.K.
