We are looking for a fun, caring, and reliable Personal Assistant to support our sociable and energetic 11-year-old daughter with autism, a learning disability, and KPTN disorder to access activities in the community, build confidence, and develop independence.
Duties include:
- Supporting attendance at social and leisure activities, including drama groups, swimming, nature walks, and outings.
- Encouraging friendships and social interaction.
- Providing prompts with eating, drinking, and toileting.
- Supporting personal care during menstruation.
- Monitoring for signs of low blood sugar and possible seizure activity.
We are looking for someone who is:
- Patient, positive, and creative.
- Sociable, active, and confident building relationships.
- Able to swim.
- Reliable and flexible.
Desirable:
- Driving licence and access to a vehicle.
