A personal assistant to work in a team of 2 is required to support a tetraplegic lady in her 60s with personal care. Support will include bathing, dressing, light household duties, meal preparation, and occasional shopping. Full training will be given for all tasks. Personal care will be single handed.
She has a young outlook and enjoys activities such as days out, swimming, attending the gym, going to the cinema, theatre, and holidays.
Female PAs are preferred. Previous experience of working in a social care setting would be an advantage.
There is a genuine occupational requirement for the holder of this post to be female in accordance with the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014 and Equality Act 2010 schedule 9 paragraphs 1 – 4.
