Shift patterns include early, middle, and late shifts, with any 5 days out of 7. Base location: Slatyford depot, Newcastle upon Tyne.
Responsibilities
- Complete industry‑leading training and secure the Personal Competence Visa (PCV) licence.
- Participate in ongoing CPC training and professional development as part of the Level 2 Bus Driver Apprenticeship.
- Drive the fleet safely and smoothly, confidently handling a range of vehicles.
- Ensure every customer has a great journey by delivering excellent customer service.
- Create a welcoming environment, especially supporting those who rely most on public transport.
- Work flexible shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
Qualifications
- 18 years old with a full UK driving licence and no more than six penalty points.
- Right to work in the UK and ordinary residency in the UK, Islands or British overseas territories for the past three years (or alternative criteria as discussed).
- Positive, friendly attitude with a passion for customer service.
- Willingness to learn and be part of a collaborative team.
- Safe, courteous approach to driving and customer interactions.
