A Preconstruction Manager is desired for a leading UK Construction powerhouse operating in Yorkshire. You will be working across major projects within Healthcare, Industrial, Education and Commercial. As a Preconstruction Manager, you will be guiding the tender process cradle to grave at a strategic level, managing bids, tender negotiations, settlement etc from initial contract.

This Preconstruction Manager must come from a building services background, ideally through estimating, costing, design or management with a proven track record of preconstruction activities.

Preconstruction Manager Responsibilities:
  • Manage enquiries through the bid process, oversee internal tender settlements, present tenders to clients, and negotiate terms.
  • Take a lead on all bid, tender enquiries meetings.
  • Build long-term working relationships to further add to work winning strategies.
  • Work closely with the design, preconstruction and business development teams.
Experience Required:
  • Strong leadership and negotiation skills.
  • Worked across the M&E / building services sector.
  • Proven track record of the tender process.
  • Background from estimating, design or project management.
