A leading UK Construction powerhouse operating in Yorkshire is seeking a Preconstruction Manager. You will be working across major projects within Healthcare, Industrial, Education and Commercial sectors. As a Preconstruction Manager, you will guide the tender process from start to finish at a strategic level, managing bids, tender negotiations, and settlements from the initial contract.
Preconstruction Manager Responsibilities:
- Manage enquiries through the bid process, oversee internal tender settlements, present tenders to clients, and negotiate terms.
- Take a lead on all bid and tender enquiry meetings.
- Build long-term working relationships to enhance work winning strategies.
- Work closely with the design, preconstruction, and business development teams.
Experience Required:
- Strong leadership and negotiation skills.
- Experience in the M&E / building services sector.
- Proven track record of the tender process.
- Background in estimating, design, or project management.
