Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with the Chief Editor and editorial team on manuscript selection, commissioning and editing of Reviews, Perspectives, Comments, and other content.
- Write original articles for the journal, ensuring high scientific and editorial quality.
- Determine and champion the representation of relevant social science perspectives in the journal.
- Engage with research communities through institutional visits, conferences, and other outreach activities.
Qualifications
Essential:
- PhD with a strong track record in research relevant to energy social sciences (energy policy, governance, economics, market dynamics, societal responses, energy transitions, justice and equity).
- Broad scientific knowledge and training across natural and social sciences.
- Excellent literary and communication skills.
- Ability to quickly absorb new areas of research.
Desirable:
- Postdoctoral experience.
- Previous editorial experience.
