Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with the Chief Editor and editorial team on manuscript selection, commissioning and editing of Reviews, Perspectives, Comments, and other content.
  • Write original articles for the journal, ensuring high scientific and editorial quality.
  • Determine and champion the representation of relevant social science perspectives in the journal.
  • Engage with research communities through institutional visits, conferences, and other outreach activities.

Qualifications

Essential:

  • PhD with a strong track record in research relevant to energy social sciences (energy policy, governance, economics, market dynamics, societal responses, energy transitions, justice and equity).
  • Broad scientific knowledge and training across natural and social sciences.
  • Excellent literary and communication skills.
  • Ability to quickly absorb new areas of research.

Desirable:

  • Postdoctoral experience.
  • Previous editorial experience.
