About the Role

As Marketing Executive with the Caribbean Team, you will support the Marketing Manager with planning and delivering marketing campaigns and activities.

This is an ideal position for someone who enjoys a varied role, from hands‑on tasks to planning campaigns, travelling and collaborating with many stakeholders internally and externally.

If you are a self‑starter with a keen interest in Education and some solid marketing experience, this role is for you!

The position is offered on a fixed‑term maternity cover basis.

It is based in our London officeon a hybrid working model.

  • Role responsibilities
  • Support the marketing manager with planning and delivery of annual marketing campaigns and activities, collaborating and being action oriented Write, develop and schedule content for email marketing, social media, websites, blogs and other digital platforms, being social media savvy and monitoring performance and engagement metrics to help optimise future content and campaign activity.
  • Create, coordinate and distribute digital and printed marketing materials, including catalogues, promotional assets, e Samples and campaign collateral.
  • Coordinate and deliver marketing competitions, promotional initiatives and customer engagement activities.
  • Plan, promote and deliver professional development programmes, including webinars, workshops and teacher training events.
  • Build and maintain relationships with authors, consultants, agents, booksellers, sales teams and internal stakeholders, communicating effectively Support the organisation and delivery of key events including the Caribbean sales conference, bookfairs and sponsored events.
  • Travel as required to support workshops, conferences and sponsorship activities across key markets.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform future marketing activity, using market intelligence.
  • Support budget administration activities, including expenditure tracking and invoice processing.
  • Prepare marketing updates, presentations and internal communications materials.

Experience, Skills & Qualifications

  • Essential Experience working in a marketing communications role within an office environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create engaging content for a range of audiences and channels.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Good understanding of digital marketing, including email marketing, social media and website content management.
  • Ability to analyse campaign performance data and produce clear reporting and insights.
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Power Point.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to work Educated to degree level or equivalent.
  • Desirable Experience using CRM systems and marketing analytics tools, preferably Hub Spot.
  • Experience using website content management systems, preferably TYPO3.
  • Knowledge of webinar platforms and virtual event delivery, preferably Zoom Events Experience using design and content creation tools, preferably Canva, to produce marketing assets for digital and print channels.
  • Experience within educational publishing, education or a related sector.
  • Experience of work travel and/or long-haul travel.
  • Certificate/Diploma in Marketing or appropriate marketing degree.
