Job Description

Are you an experienced Cyber Security professional with hands-on experience in security operations, incident response, and risk management? Have you led a small team and are now looking to take the next step into a management role? If so, we want to hear from you.
We are looking for an IT Security Manager who has worked on the front lines of cyber security, actively managing security incidents and implementing protective measures—not just conducting audits. This role is ideal for a Senior Security Analyst or Team Lead who has provided guidance to others and is now ready to take on more leadership responsibility.
About the Role As IT Security Manager, you will take ownership of our cyber security framework, ensuring our systems and data remain protected against evolving threats. You will work closely with IT teams, business stakeholders, and external security partners to build, enhance, and enforce security policies and incident response procedures.
In this role, you will also provide leadership and mentorship to a Cyber Security Analyst, helping to shape and grow the security function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and enforcement of security policies, standards, and procedures.
- Proactively identify, investigate, and respond to security incidents.
- Manage security risks, conducting risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and data protection regulations (GDPR).
- Work with IT teams and third-party vendors to enhance security postures across cloud (preferably Azure) and on-premise environments.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to the Cyber Security Analyst, supporting their professional development.
- Lead penetration testing, security audits, and vulnerability management initiatives.
- Promote a security-first culture by delivering training and awareness programmes.
What We're Looking For:
- Hands-on Cyber Security Experience: You have worked directly in security operations, incident response, and risk management—not just auditing or compliance.
- Leadership Skills: You have led or mentored a small security team and are looking to take the next step into management.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of cyber security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001), cloud security (Azure preferred), and security best practices.
- Problem-Solving Mindset: You can think critically and act decisively in high-pressure security situations.
- Strong Communication Skills: Ability to explain complex security topics to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant Qualifications: A degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field. Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are desirable but not required.
What We Offer:
- A career growth opportunity for an ambitious security professional stepping into management.
- A collaborative and supportive work environment where your contributions will directly shape our security strategy.
- Ongoing professional development and training opportunities to keep your skills sharp.
If you are ready to step up into a leadership role and bring hands-on cyber security expertise to a growing team, apply now.
