We are seeking an experienced and driven IT Business Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering business analysis functions across a range of projects, working to support change initiatives and ensure successful project outcomes. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to elicit business requirements, document them, and develop comprehensive work packages. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful projects in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As part of your role, you will also supervise and guide Business Analyst (BA) teams, including external contractors and senior suppliers, ensuring the highest quality of service and adherence to BA standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver business analysis functions within project teams, utilising a wide range of BA tools and techniques.
- Lead and supervise BA teams, including contractors and senior suppliers, to ensure projects meet business needs.
- Elicit and document business requirements, translating them into actionable work packages and plans.
- Identify, quantify, and measure both financial and non-financial benefits.
- Develop and strengthen key stakeholder relationships to ensure alignment with project goals.
- Implement quality assurance measures to maintain BA service standards.
- Support the monitoring and management of project budgets.
- Contribute to the adoption of enterprise architecture across projects.
- Degree in any discipline or equivalent qualification/experience.
- Formal business analysis or analytical qualification, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Relevant project management qualification (e.g. PRINCE2) or equivalent experience.
- ITIL Foundation V4 certification.
- Proven experience delivering BA functions across a wide range of projects.
- Practical experience supervising BA teams, including external contractors and senior suppliers.
- Proficient in using a wide range of BA tools and techniques to support successful change delivery.
- Experience in eliciting and documenting business requirements and creating work packages.
- Experience in building and maintaining stakeholder relationships.
- Experience implementing quality assurance measures to maintain BA standards.
- Sound knowledge of business analysis methodologies and practical application of both qualitative and quantitative tools.
- Knowledge of monitoring budgets and understanding financial aspects of projects.
- Awareness of enterprise architecture and its role in delivering IT projects.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software development methodologies.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive matters with professionalism.
- Able to meet tight project and operational deadlines, working both independently and as part of a team.
- IT proficiency in MS Office, MS SharePoint, and other office-related software.
