Role Overview

They are seeking a skilled Air Conditioning Engineer to handle maintenance, small installations, and repairs on various air conditioning systems. The role covers sites within the M25 and surrounding areas, and candidates must be comfortable working in mental health units and schools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on air conditioning systems, including split systems, VRV/VRF systems, and chillers.
  • Carry out small-scale installations and commissioning of new units.
  • Diagnose and resolve faults in HVAC systems using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate service records, job sheets, and maintenance logs.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, including NHS staff, ensuring their requirements are met.

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (or equivalent).
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in maintenance and small installations within the HVAC industry.
  • F-Gas certification (essential).
  • Experience working in healthcare environments (preferred but not essential).
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
  • A valid UK driving licence is required.
