About the Role
We are looking for friendly, safety‑conscious people to join our team as Bus Drivers at the Thurso depot (Lovers Lane, Thurso, KW14 7EQ).
Salary is £14.60 per hour with overtime paid at £16.50 per hour after 42 hours. Training lasts 6–8 weeks, fully paid by Stagecoach, during which you will earn £14.60 per hour. Upon completion you can expect an annual earning of £31,400 based on 42 hours per week.
Shift patterns are any 5 over 7. Work is flexible, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
Responsibilities
- Complete industry‑leading training and secure a PCV licence followed by ongoing CPC training and professional development.
- Drive our fleet safely, smoothly and confidently.
- Ensure every passenger has a great journey and delivers top‑notch customer service.
- Create a welcoming environment where customers feel respected, cared for and looked after, especially those who rely on us most.
- Work flexible shifts, including early mornings, evenings and weekends.
Qualifications
- 18 years old, with a full UK driving licence and no more than 6 penalty points.
- Right to work in the UK.
- A patient, safe and courteous approach to driving.
