We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead the engineering team at our Buchan depots in Peterhead.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of engineers, technicians, and apprentices in maintaining and repairing a fleet of approximately 45 buses and coaches.
- Manage plant and building operations, ensuring all facilities meet safety and maintenance standards.
- Provide day‑to‑day support, advice and management to the team.
- Oversee resource management: ordering, inventory control, recruiting, training and health & safety.
- Ensure vehicles are presented to the high standards expected by customers.
Qualifications
- Prior engineering experience in a related industry such as truck, light commercial, or rail.
- Evidence of people‑management experience with teams of any size.
- Strong understanding of fleet maintenance and plant operations.
