Salary: Competitive rate of pay in line with experience. Guaranteed 45 hours minimum with overtime potentially available.

You’ll be one of our experienced members of staff who maintains and repairs a modern and varied fleet of vehicles so our fantastic customers can travel safely and comfortably every day to healthcare and employment, to shopping and leisure, and to see friends and family.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair a fleet including Alexander Dennis, Scania, Volvo and Optare vehicles.
  • Deliver high standards of engineering maintenance and repair.
  • Handle depot-based and out-of-depot assignments.
  • Support the development of future hybrid and electric vehicles.
  • Assist in training staff and dealing with on-site vehicle issues.

Qualifications

  • Engineering background with a vehicular focus – bus, HGV / LGV, truck, haulage, automotive, plant, rail or farm.
  • Experience in maintenance and repair of vehicles.
  • Willingness to deliver high standards of engineering maintenance and repair.
