About the role:
We’re looking for an experienced China digital marketer with strong agency experience and a proven track record on China digital, delivering results for luxury property and hospitality clients. This role blends strategy and execution for you to independently run campaigns, create content and report on performance with a clear commercial focus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop data-driven digital marketing strategies for the Chinese market, optimising multi-channel campaigns including the major platforms WeChat, Video Channel, RedNote, and Baidu; and ensuring compliance and regulations.
- Execute social campaigns end-to-end, acting as brand account holder, managing calendars, engagement, optimising and community growth, and most importantly leads generation for luxury property, hotel and lifestyle brands.
- Create and localise content that resonates with Chinese audiences while maintaining UK/international brand tone, collaborating with designers and copywriters.
- Manage paid advertising across Baidu, WeChat, RedNote and other key platforms to maximise ROI.
- Lead day-to-day client communication, building trust, managing expectations and coordinating seamless delivery, and always meet deadlines with high quality of work.
- Track and analyse campaign performance using tracking tools to deliver data-driven insights, reports and recommendations.
- Build and manage partnerships and influencer campaigns, including outreach, briefing and performance tracking to drive sales enquiries and bookings.
What We’re Looking For:
- 3-8 years agency or relevant experience in a fast-paced agency serving clients.
- Hands-on solid experience managing WeChat Official Accounts, Video Channel and RedNote campaigns.
- Proven understanding of content and advertising restrictions for property and hospitality in China.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and analytics platforms.
- Ability to show tangible campaign growth data (engagement, enquiries, or conversions).
- Fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English, both written and spoken.
