Our Pulse team creates a benchmarking tool used by the likes of Monzo, Starling, NatWest, and Tesco Bank. 11:FS Pulse is a leading product insights platform catering to professionals in financial services. We offer access to an expansive library of user journey recordings and a diverse collection of high-quality editorial content. Recognized for our authoritative voice, we set the benchmark for UX and digital experiences in fintech and banking.
Our content library includes 22,000+ user journey recordings from 900+ brands in over 50 countries. The recordings are collected, processed, and analysed by our valued and highly-skilled content team, with many new journeys being published each month. About the role: Associate UX Research Analysts will form a core part of our ambitious Pulse content team. The position will involve leveraging UX skills and fintech knowledge to analyse and assess financial user journeys from around the world, while significantly contributing insightful, longer-form editorial content about the fintech landscape, alongside playing a key role in benchmarking and validating financial product features at scale. Exceptional writing abilities are essential, as the role is central to maintaining high-quality, insightful, and engaging content on the Pulse platform. This position is an excellent opportunity to enter the fintech industry and further develop one's UX knowledge and editorial skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Utilising your UX experience to conduct expert analysis of financial apps and websites from all over the world.
- Acquiring user journeys from our panel of users.
- Contributing significantly towards our weekly newsletter by writing long-form, well-researched editorials about trending financial services and fintech topics.
- Playing a core role in the Feature Benchmarking team, sourcing and validating financial product features across global markets.
- Rapidly acquire and verify user journeys to ensure accuracy and completeness of benchmarking data.
- Maintain a high bar for detail and data integrity when confirming feature availability.
- Developing a strong understanding of the fintech market and specialising in a particular area of it.
- Helping the Pulse team identify new financial service products to include on the platform.
- Producing engaging editorial content to guide Pulse users toward particularly interesting or high-quality product experiences, such as creating curated playlists with commentary.
- Playing an active role in achieving the Content Team's editorial ambitions.
- Helping clients identify valuable user journeys and best UX practices.
- Working collaboratively with a friendly team on a day-to-day basis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong abilities in crafting compelling long-form content.
- 1+ years of experience in the field of UX (or similar).
- Interested and knowledgeable about UX/UI Design.
- Enjoys writing and able to produce high-quality, engaging copy at a relatively fast pace.
- Very interested in fintech/financial services and eager to deepen knowledge about the industry and its products.
- A collaborative and engaged team player.
- Has an interest in specialising within a specific area of fintech or finance.
The pay range for this role is: 31,000 - 36,000 GBP per year.
