Role Overview
As the Portfolio Data Analyst within the Infrastructure Team, you will strengthen the data foundation that underpins portfolio monitoring, value creation, ESG performance management, and investor reporting.
This junior role is suited to a highly organised, analytical candidate who can manage recurring data processes, engage confidently with investee companies and service providers, and help extend our infrastructure data set across financial, operational, ESG and value‑creation plan metrics.
Responsibilities
- Own and maintain the core portfolio data set for PATRIZIA Infrastructure, covering financial, operational, ESG and value‑creation plan data points across investee companies.
- Run recurring portfolio data collection processes, including annual ESG data collection, quarterly or ad hoc portfolio updates, framework updates, and engagement with relevant IT reporting tools.
- Work with investee companies to ensure complete, accurate and timely data submissions, following up on gaps, inconsistencies, and data quality issues.
- Maintain structured reporting templates and data models that support asset management, governance forums, investor reporting, and Value Creation Group activities.
- Produce portfolio‑level analysis, dashboards, scorecards, and reporting outputs that translate reported data into clear insights for senior stakeholders.
- Prepare regulatory ESG reporting and other customised ESG reporting outputs under senior management supervision.
- Support ESG‑related requests for proposals, due diligence questionnaires and investor information requests, working with senior colleagues to ensure consistent, high‑quality responses.
- Coordinate access to annual and recurring portfolio data for external service providers.
Qualifications
- Two to four years of professional experience in portfolio reporting, data analytics, audit, ESG reporting, or a related data management or analytical role.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage recurring data collection processes, track deadlines, and follow up proactively with multiple stakeholders.
- A genuine interest in working with structured data and reporting templates to produce insightful and provocative reports that accurately identify opportunities for improvement across the portfolio.
- Strong Excel and Power Point skills; experience with Power BI and database tools is highly valued.
- Interest in infrastructure investment, asset management, ESG performance, investor reporting and value creation.
- Clear communication skills and confidence to engage with investee companies, internal stakeholders and external service providers in a professional and service‑oriented manner.
- A curious, pragmatic and hands‑on mindset, with the willingness to take ownership of core portfolio data processes while learning from experienced reviewers and subject‑matter experts.
