Personal Injury Legal Secretary
£20,000 – £25,000 | Sandwich, Kent | Permanent, Full-Time

Our client, a highly regarded law firm based in Kent, is seeking to appoint an experienced Legal Secretary to support their Personal Injury team. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with experience in Personal Injury or Medical Negligence to join a dynamic and well-established firm.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong secretarial background, combined with expertise in handling personal injury or medical negligence matters. Exceptional organisational and communication skills are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive secretarial support to the Director, including managing appointments and addressing client queries via phone and in person.
  • Oversee filing, photocopying, and the opening/closing of client files.
  • Maintain and manage the Directors diary, ensuring efficient scheduling and follow-ups.
  • Review client files in compliance with regulatory requirements, coordinating with fee earners on necessary actions.
  • Perform a variety of general administrative tasks to support the teams needs.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Legal Secretary or in an administrative support role within a law firm.
  • Demonstrable experience working with Personal Injury or Medical Negligence teams.
  • Medical secretaries will be considered.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organised, with excellent time management abilities.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary range: £20,000 – £25,000 per annum.
  • Location: Sandwich, Kent (fully office-based).
  • Standard working hours: Monday to Friday, 9am 5pm.
  • Onsite parking available.
  • 23 days annual leave, in addition to excellent social and team-building events.
