Early stage, PE backed and highly acquisitive business is looking for an ambitious IT Integration Engineer to join the team. The focus of this role will be integrating acquired businesses into the group. This will involve a great deal of project oriented migration work, across the Microsoft suite of products.
The role will involve travel to the site of acquired businesses a few times per month, to meet with the senior leadership team, understand the IT environment, assess risk and create a project plan to integrate them into the group structure. The ability to understand stakeholder requirements, give confidence and advice to non-technical stakeholders will be key at this stage.
You will then be responsible for executing the technical migration. Focus areas will be:
- Microsoft 365 Migrations (Mailboxes, SharePoint etc)
- InTune administration
- Server and File Storage - Admin and Migration
- Firewalls
Solid Project/Migration IT Engineering background with experience across the suite of Microsoft products (Mailbox/SharePoint/M365). Experience of integrating businesses following M&A/Mergers and Acquisitions or working in an MSP setting where you deliver a large number of migrations, will be highly desirable.
