Enterprise Applications Manager (EMEA)

Job Overview
Lead a newly formed Business Systems team supporting EMEA operations, shaping the enterprise applications landscape across a diverse, fast‑moving region. Work within the EMEA IT leadership team, aligning technology and business strategy to optimise application performance and deliver measurable business value.
Responsibilities
- Define and deliver a strategic roadmap for enterprise applications aligned to business priorities and long‑term technology direction.
- Lead the end‑to‑end application lifecycle, including selection, implementation, upgrades, optimisation, and retirement.
- Ensure reliability, availability, and performance of critical systems, driving best‑practice support and incident management.
- Build, lead and develop a high‑performing team of application specialists, fostering innovation and collaboration.
- Partner with business units, IT service lines and external vendors to deliver effective, value‑driven solutions.
- Embed governance, security and compliance standards across all enterprise applications.
Qualifications and Experience
- Proven experience as a senior applications manager or in IT leadership roles.
- Strong technical knowledge across enterprise ecosystems such as ERP, PLM, BI, SaaS platforms, integration technologies, Atlassian tools, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, or ServiceNow.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and influence across matrixed organisations to deliver outcomes.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, vendor management and project delivery capability.
- Excellent communication, organisational and analytical skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related discipline.
- Desirable: Experience within manufacturing, engineering or production environments, including secure or classified settings.
