Role: International Spa Trainer

Reports into: Global Head of Aesthetics

The Role:

The International Spa trainer at 111SKIN is responsible for assisting in the assessment of the training & education needs of the international spa business, delivering in situ treatment, product and brand training. This role will be responsible for ensuring that our internal & external sales teams have the product knowledge and understanding of application technique that align with the 111SKIN standards. This role will be responsible for managing the training calendar for international spa trainings. Will work closely with our Global Sales & Education team to educate on how to sell our products and treatments to achieve & exceed targets. Working at the heart of the SPA/CLINIC team and directly with the Global Head of Aesthetics, this role will be responsible for planning & facilitating a variety of training sessions for both new & existing international and UK based spas.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement the global spa training strategy to support business initiatives
  • Facilitate training programs for internal & external team members
  • Build strong & meaningful relationships with our spa network
  • Excite & inspire our therapists around the world to enhance their effectiveness & maximize sales
  • Understand, know and learn training content & tools to ensure effectiveness & engagement
  • Be able to explain ingredients and benefits in a way the is approachable and memorable
  • Ensure new training content & programs are distributed to all spa accounts under their training remit & partners in a timely manner
  • Work closely with Global Head of Aesthetics & Head of Global SPA/CLINIC to create training schedules to support spa focus’, new product launches & implement regimented follow up on all trainings
  • Support special events & activations with trainings prior & during to drive excitement & engagement including PR events & activities

Requirements:

  • Based in London
  • Previous Spa experience as an aesthetician
  • Strong & engaging presentation and facilitation skills driving maximum engagement & retention.
  • Confidence leading & coaching both small to large groups
  • Excellent communication & coaching skills
  • Ability to plan & facilitate training programs
  • Ability to conduct follow up and retention checks
  • Strong knowledge within the beauty industry
  • Excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail
  • Ability to be travelling internationally for multiple days
  • Ability to set up and break down a training room, that would include unpacking boxes and bending and kneeling to set up banners and computers
  • Proficient in Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Minimum NVQ Level 3 or equivalent for face and body
