Head of E-commerce – 12 month FTC
Reporting to: Chief Marketing Officer

Whom we are looking for: A commercially minded, innovative thinker that champions the digital roadmap while executing tactics that support growth and brand elevation at the same time.
What you’ll do: As the head of department, you’ll own the P&L and trading strategy. You’ll provide strong leadership to the in-house e-commerce team and external agency partners as we continue to transform our digital efforts across website, paid media, CRM, UX and customer service.

This is a full-time position operating with a hybrid working pattern, including two days per week based at 111SKIN’s Head office in Fitzrovia, London. This is a fixed term contract for 12 months.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Lead the global vision and planning across all digital channels including website development & UX, site trading, paid media, CRM and customer service.
- Take full ownership of the e-commerce P&L, setting and executing strategies to achieve revenue targets while managing the budget in alignment with department needs and planned projects for the year ahead.
- Collaborate closely with agencies to oversee channel performance across Paid Social, Google Ads, and Affiliates. Lead strategic planning, optimise budgets, and ensure campaign effectiveness by monitoring key performance metrics.
- Expand on a comprehensive retention strategy across CRM channels, including email, SMS, loyalty programs, and customer service.
- Develop and execute a data-driven digital trading strategy that balances sales performance with brand elevation goals and identify and implement innovative, out-of-the-box initiatives to drive trade beyond traditional site-wide promotions.
- Lead reporting and analytics using primarily BI tools, GA4 and Looker Studio, as well as in-platform reporting across digital channels.
- Define best practices for customer experience and platform functionality, while overseeing and refining the management of our outsourced customer service agency to ensure optimal support and efficiency.
- Continue to build, mentor and lead the in-house team.
Requirements:
- Previous leadership experience in digital and e-commerce; ideally acquired in an multichannel environment within the beauty, fashion, luxury or related industries.
- Proven track record of driving strong digital trading performance; excellent business acumen with a desire to elevate the brand at the same time.
- Expertise in digital marketing, merchandising and customer experience.
- Excellent analytical skills and detail orientation, with expertise in Microsoft Excel.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with hands-on experience.
- Proven people development skills; commitment to mentorship and individual growth.
- Comfortable managing multiple responsibilities and complex projects, ensuring alignment across internal and external stakeholders.
