Whom we are looking for: We are seeking a highly analytical and proactive Demand Planning Manger to join our growing skincare company.

What you’ll do: You will be responsible for creating accurate demand forecasts, supporting inventory management, and collaborating with key departments including sales, marketing, product development, and operations

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Develop, manage, and improve short and long-term demand forecasts at SKU level using excel modelling and business insights.
  • Collaborate closely with sales teams to understand promotional plans, new product introductions, and market trends that influence demand.
  • Analyse historical sales, market trends, and customer data across all channels (e.g., retail, e-commerce, spa, wholesale) to optimize forecast accuracy.
  • Lead monthly demand planning reviews, aligning cross-functional stakeholders on forecast assumptions and risks.
  • Monitor forecast accuracy and track forecast KPIs (bias, accuracy) to drive continuous improvement.
  • Partner with supply planning teams to ensure inventory alignment with demand projections and prevent stockouts or excess.
  • Provide insights and analytics on product performance and lifecycle planning (launch, sustain, discontinue).
  • Work with sales, marketing and operations on launch forecasts, ensuring demand plans align with production capabilities and timelines.
  • Support scenario planning and ad-hoc analyses during product promotions, seasonal events (e.g., holiday spikes), and retail/marketing campaigns.
  • Utilize demand planning software and tools (e.g., Netstock, Excel) to create and maintain forecasting models.
  • Provide forecasts for NPD shipments to warehouse globally
  • Manage, coach, and develop planning assistant; foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous learning.
  • Support leadership with ad-hoc reports and deep dives on sales trends and product performance

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, statistics, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in demand planning, preferably in the beauty, skincare, or consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; experience with forecasting models and ERP systems.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with demand planning tools.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple products across various sales channels.
  • Passion for skincare and an understanding of market dynamics, customer behaviour, and product lifecycles in the beauty industry.
