To be successful as an HGV Technician, you should display a strong collaborative attitude as well as good team working skills.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out specified works to a range of HGV vehicles in a safe and timely manner.
- Diagnose and apply the relevant mechanical repairs.
- Repair and replace damaged or worn parts.
- Road test the vehicles to check the repairs work.
- Deal with unscheduled repairs and checks as they arise.
- Fit and service accessories like radios and alarms.
- Service the vehicles and maintain service record sheets.
