Salary: £42,800
The role follows a continental shift pattern working both days and nights (0600 – 1800), 4 on and 4 off. It will be 2 blocks of day shift and then 2 blocks of night shift on rotation.
Working as a member of the Engineering team, you will develop plant reliability and operational capability by implementing robust maintenance strategies and resolving plant issues and breakdowns to ensure downtime is kept to a minimum. As a high calibre Radnor Engineer, you will demonstrate a logical approach to problem solving, demonstrate fast-paced decision making and use your technical background routinely across a wide and varied equipment and technology base.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Undertake planned preventative maintenance activities with due consideration for safe plant operations and product quality.
- Record all planned and reactive maintenance work carried out using CMMS ensuring any parts used are booked out of stores against appropriate asset.
- Develop and enhance maintenance systems and procedures.
- Routinely undertake continuous improvement activities to develop plant capability and equipment reliability.
- Participate in plant improvements, modifications and capital investment projects.
- Coach, mentor and support Engineers and Operators as appropriate.
General Provisions:
- Ensure that the training and development needs of any subordinate staff are identified and addressed and contribute generally to the development of an overall learning culture within the Company.
- Ensure the delivery of agreed standards during maintenance activities.
- Participate as necessary in appropriate shifts and on-call rotas, if applicable.
- Other duties within the general scope of the post may be required from time to time.
