BRISTOL

DAYS 07.30-16.00 Mon to Fri

Salary 35-40k Dependent on experience

Main Duties:

  • Time served or demonstrably experienced in assembling and repairing AC & DC motors
  • Experience in reading technical drawings and engineering specs
  • Balance rotors to ensure optimal performance and reliability
  • Conduct testing and quality checks on completed units
  • Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on a range of motors
  • Work on equipment used in both commercial and defence applications

Additional skills:

  • Be a paragon of health and safety and responsible for following processes to deliver a quality product
  • Be a creative team player, able to work autonomously on your own as well as with a multidisciplinary team of electrical, mechanical and project professionals
  • Exemplify problem solving and time management
  • BTEC/NVQ or equivalent qualification in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering would be desirable but not essential
