Working hours: 7.30am – 4.00pm, Monday to Friday.
Location: Bristol, BS2 0JZ.
Salary: £42,000 plus a £1,000 Christmas bonus and £100 per five weeks for being on call (additional £1,000).
Main Duties:
- Carry out maintenance on various pumps and associated equipment.
- Ensure equipment complies with current regulations.
- Fault investigation and repair: attend client sites to investigate faults with field-based equipment, repair where possible, and report findings.
- Installations and modification upgrades: replace and install pumps and related equipment, and upgrade pumps and related systems where required.
- Commissioning of pump and related equipment and systems following installations.
- Liaise with the M&E Services department.
- Deal with commercial and residential customers.
Types of equipment you will be expected to work with:
- Submersible pumps, clean water pumps, booster pumps, water feature pumps.
- Sewage pumps, sewage treatment pumps, dirty water pumps, well pumps.
- Portable irrigation, flood pumps, borehole services, pump control systems.
- Swimming pool pumps, septic tank replacement/upgrade, rainwater harvesting.
Qualifications and experience required:
- Experience in clean and dirty water pump maintenance & repair.
- Health & Safety aware.
- CSCS certification.
- IPAF certification.
