AC & DC Motor Engineer
Location: Bristol
Working days: [removed] Mon to Fri
Salary: 35-40k dependent on experience
Main Duties
- Time served or demonstrably experienced in assembling and repairing AC & DC motors
- Experience in reading technical drawings and engineering specs
- Balance rotors to ensure optimal performance and reliability
- Conduct testing and quality checks on completed units
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on a range of motors
- Work on equipment used in both commercial and defence applications
Additional skills
- Be a paragon of health and safety and responsible for following processes to deliver a quality product
- Be a creative team player, able to work autonomously on your own as well as with a multidisciplinary team of electrical, mechanical and project professionals
- Exemplify problem solving and time management
- BTEC/NVQ or equivalent qualification in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering would be desirable but not essential
