We are looking for an Undergraduate Industrial Placement Analytical Scientist to make an impact through the following responsibilities:
- Perform analyses related to clinical supplies, formulation development, stability and process scale up using a variety of analytical techniques.
- Process data and report to team.
- Interpret test results and contribute to team discussions with formulation and device development teams.
- Maintain relevant documentation according to cGMP documentation practices.
- Troubleshoot instrumentation and investigate aberrant sample results.
- Adhere to all applicable policies and procedures, including those relating to EHS, GMP, GCP, Quality and Compliance.
- Perform other duties as assigned consistent with the grade of the role.
Qualifications
- A-level or equivalent qualifications in science subjects.
- Working towards a relevant MSc or BSc degree.
- Foundation skills in analytical chemistry.
- Good understanding of modern laboratory techniques, including HPLC.
- Some practical experience would be helpful.
- Ability to work autonomously and familiar with basic calculations in Analytical Chemistry.
- Ability to work flexibly across multidisciplinary lines and within a team environment.
- Organises tasks allocated by supervisor and plans own work to achieve high quality results in a timely manner.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
