- Material Handler responsibilities
- Verify quantities shipped or received to packing lists and purchase orders.
- Deliver and receive incoming packages to specified locations.
- Handle return shipments to suppliers.
- Load raw material or finished product on skid or hand truck.
- Stack skids or pallets in designated areas.
- Retrieve Stock orders.
- Retrieve Material orders.
- Verify quantities of materials shipped to and from Plants.
- Perform physical inventories and labeling.
- Clean up and dispose of scrap bracing, cardboard and strapping and places in proper containers or in designated areas.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Minimum qualifications
- Minimum of a High School diploma (or equivalent) is required with 0-2 years of experience.
- A combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration.
- Must possess good communication, time management and organizational skills.
- Must possess competent computer skills including; Microsoft Word, Excel and Lotus Notes.
- Frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stoop, climb ladders, or stairs, stand or sit for extended periods of time.
- Requires long periods of standing; intermittent stooping and bending.
Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
The salary range for this position is $37,000 - $73,000.
