  • Material Handler responsibilities
  • Verify quantities shipped or received to packing lists and purchase orders.
  • Deliver and receive incoming packages to specified locations.
  • Handle return shipments to suppliers.
  • Load raw material or finished product on skid or hand truck.
  • Stack skids or pallets in designated areas.
  • Retrieve Stock orders.
  • Retrieve Material orders.
  • Verify quantities of materials shipped to and from Plants.
  • Perform physical inventories and labeling.
  • Clean up and dispose of scrap bracing, cardboard and strapping and places in proper containers or in designated areas.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Minimum qualifications
  • Minimum of a High School diploma (or equivalent) is required with 0-2 years of experience.
  • A combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration.
  • Must possess good communication, time management and organizational skills.
  • Must possess competent computer skills including; Microsoft Word, Excel and Lotus Notes.
  • Frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stoop, climb ladders, or stairs, stand or sit for extended periods of time.
  • Requires long periods of standing; intermittent stooping and bending.

Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.

The salary range for this position is $37,000 - $73,000.
