We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Kitchen Assistant to join our care facility team. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks for residents, following established menus and recipes.
  • Prepare special dietary meals including pureed, soft, diabetic-friendly, and allergen-free options as required.
  • Support the chef in cooking activities, including vegetable preparation, basic cooking tasks, and meal assembly.
  • Ensure all food is prepared and served at the correct temperature and within appropriate timeframes.

  • Monitor and record food temperatures during storage, preparation, and service.
  • Ensure proper food storage, labeling, and rotation to minimize waste and prevent contamination.
