How to prepare for a job interview at 110% People

Know Your Stuff

Make sure you brush up on your knowledge of early years education. Familiarise yourself with age-appropriate activities and the latest practices in child development. This will not only show your passion but also demonstrate that you're serious about the role.

Showcase Your Experience

Prepare specific examples from your past experience working with children aged 0-5. Think about how you've created stimulating environments or encouraged social skills. Sharing these stories will help you stand out and give the interviewer a clear picture of your capabilities.

Ask Thoughtful Questions

Interviews are a two-way street! Prepare some insightful questions about the nursery's approach to early childhood education or their expectations for the role. This shows that you're genuinely interested and helps you assess if it's the right fit for you.

Be Yourself

Let your personality shine through during the interview. The role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, so being authentic will help you connect with the interviewer. Remember, they want to see how you would interact with children and families!
