The role is to work in the Pre‑School Room and it is a term time position. The Nursery is open between 8am and 4pm.
We are currently recruiting for a passionate Room Leader to join a local Day Nursery. The nursery is a purpose built space with engaging toys and resources.
About the Role:- Lead, mentor and inspire a team to deliver exceptional care and education
- Ensure the learning environment provides consistent stimulation and engaging activities for the children
- Maintain accurate records and accounts relating to children and staff
- Develop and maintain strong partnerships with colleagues, parents and/or carers, as well as other professionals
- Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health and safety and safeguarding procedures and policies are followed at all times
- Work with colleagues to maintain a positive, happy and safe environment
- Level 3 or above childcare qualification
- Passionate about childcare
- Recent experience with the EYFS
