We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Tutor to teach SATS and 11+ to provide personalised academic support to students across various subjects. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for teaching, excellent communication skills, and experience working with children or individuals with special educational needs. Responsibilities
- Deliver customised tutoring sessions tailored to each student\'s learning needs and goals
- Support students in developing their understanding of subject material through engaging and effective teaching methods
- Assess student progress regularly and adjust tutoring approaches accordingly
- Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment that promotes confidence and motivation
- Maintain clear communication with parents, guardians, or educators regarding student progress and areas for improvement
- Prepare educational materials and resources to enhance learning experiences
- Promote independent learning skills and study techniques
Requirements
- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, preferably with children or young learners
- PGCE preffered
- DBS essential
- Knowledge of specific subjects or specialised education (e.g., special education) is advantageous
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Patience, adaptability, and the ability to motivate students of varying abilities
- Organised with strong planning skills to develop customised lesson plans
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in education or related fields are desirable but not essential
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £20.00-£25.00 per hour
