Managing Director – Professional Services

We're looking for an entrepreneurial Managing Director to lead and scale a Professional Services division across the UK and/or US. This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of an established platform with strong brand credibility, existing client relationships, and significant investment behind it.
If you've built a successful desk in Tax, Audit, Advisory, Transaction Services, CFO, Interim, Compliance, Risk, Legal or Professional Services and are looking for a genuine leadership mandate, this could be your next move.
The Opportunity
You’ll have the autonomy to shape strategy, launch new verticals, hire teams, win clients, and create a market-leading Professional Services practice. The foundations are already in place, meaning you avoid the typical cold-start challenges associated with launching a new business.
You’ll Be Responsible For:
- Building and scaling the Professional Services division across the UK and/or US
- Developing senior client relationships across professional services and advisory markets
- Leading retained and contingent searches across Tax, Advisory, and Finance Leadership
- Driving business development and account expansion
- Hiring, mentoring, and leading high-performing consultants
- Launching and growing new verticals, including Audit, Transaction Services, CFO, Interim, Compliance, and Risk
- Partnering with senior leadership on strategic growth initiatives

Who We’re Looking For
You are likely:
- A Director, Managing Director, Partner or Practice Leader within Professional Services recruitment
- A proven biller with a strong network across advisory, consulting, tax, finance or professional services markets
- Experienced in building teams, developing talent, and growing revenues
- Commercially minded with ambitions beyond personal production
- Excited by the challenge of creating something bigger than your own desk
