Who we are:
Your neighbourhood place for a leisurely lunch with a friend, family dinners or a late-night bite. We are known for our simple, seasonal menu. Tower House serves modern Mediterranean food with old world Italian roots reminiscent of home in a spirit of relaxed care and warmth.
The Tower House itself was built mid 19th century, the clock tower is a homage to Osbourne House, the Queen's residence on the Isle of Wight that led to a number of similar Italianate inspired architectural buildings across the UK. The interior features heirloom collectable pieces and beautiful objects which represent our passion for artisan craftsmanship. Outside, the elevated terrace offers a place to enjoy panoramic views of the beautiful tree lined scenic bend of the river Thames framed by the Grade 1 18th century stone arched Richmond Bridge and grade 2 star Twickenham bridge.
Our aim is simple: to honour the farms from one season to the next and pursue a minimal intervention cooking process that pays homage to the quality of the ingredients and spontaneity in our cooking style. Whether it's a plate of grilled monkfish, fried rabbit, or insalata verde, our food is like a collection of stories that arrive at your table.
