Do you have 8 to 20 hours per week available alongside your main role or consulting projects? Join us in shaping how AI understands and applies financial regulatory reasoning at scale.

About the Role

10x.team connects expert freelancers with leading AI labs building next-generation models. We are looking for skilled financial regulatory lawyers based in the EU or UK to enhance the accuracy, depth, and real-world applicability of AI-powered regulatory compliance systems.

What You Will Do

  • Review and refine AI-generated outputs across topics including financial regulations, compliance challenges, risk assessment, and practical frameworks
  • Evaluate AI responses for regulatory accuracy, real-world applicability, and logical soundness
  • Draft realistic regulatory scenarios and case studies informed by your direct experience
  • Create variations of scenarios from different perspectives (e.g. in-house counsel, regulatory officer, business executive, or external advisor)
  • Identify gaps, oversimplifications, or weak logic in AI-generated financial regulatory content

In simple terms: You will assess and improve AI-generated financial regulatory content, ensuring it reflects authentic legal reasoning, robust compliance logic, and current best practices. Instead of traditional legal practice, you’ll use your expertise to help AI systems deeply understand and reason about financial regulation at scale.

Who You Are

  • A senior-level financial regulatory lawyer, compliance lead, or legal consultant (e.g. in-house counsel, regulatory specialist, external advisor)
  • Based in and eligible to work in the EU or UK
  • Several years of hands-on experience in financial regulatory compliance, legal advisory, or risk management in complex environments
  • Strong ability to assess regulatory logic and distinguish between theoretical and practically sound solutions
  • Comfortable working independently and providing structured, critical feedback
  • Available for 8–20 hours per week, with near-term availability

Why Join?

  • Flexible, fully remote work that fits alongside your current commitments
  • Apply your financial regulation expertise in a fast-evolving, high-impact AI field
  • Directly contribute to shaping next-generation AI regulatory systems
  • Full free access to our in-house AI Academy to further develop your AI skillset
  • Clear onboarding, structured briefs, and opportunities for recurring project work
