About the Role
10x.team connects expert freelancers with leading AI labs building next-generation models. We are looking for experienced competition law experts based in the EU or UK to enhance the accuracy, depth, and practical applicability of AI-powered compliance and legal systems.
What You Will Do
- Review and refine AI-generated outputs across topics including competition law, antitrust policy, regulatory compliance, merger control, and enforcement actions
- Evaluate AI responses for legal realism, soundness, and accurate real-world applicability
- Draft realistic competition law scenarios informed by your direct experience
- Create variations of scenarios from different perspectives (e.g. legal counsel, regulator, company executive, or compliance officer)
- Identify gaps, oversimplifications, or flawed logic in AI-generated legal content
In simple terms: You will evaluate and improve AI-generated competition law content, ensuring it mirrors authentic legal reasoning, robust logic, and industry best practices. Instead of traditional legal consulting, you’ll use your expertise to help AI systems truly understand and reason about competition law at scale.
Who You Are
- A senior competition law specialist, legal counsel, regulatory policy expert, compliance officer, or similar
- Based in and eligible to work in the EU or UK
- Several years of practical experience in competition law (antitrust), regulatory compliance, or related fields
- Strong at distinguishing between legal theory and sound, practical solutions
- Comfortable working independently and providing structured, critical feedback
- Available for 8–20 hours per week, with near-term availability
