About the role: The Client Implementation Programme Manager role will operate as an overarching delivery role focused on client relationship management, programme execution, and driving successful delivery of committed outcomes. While working closely with Product, Engineering, and cross-functional teams, this role does not lead engineering squads or run agile ceremonies. Instead, it ensures alignment, visibility, and effective execution across multiple workstreams, maintaining a strong client focus and enabling teams to deliver value against strategic objectives. You will work with relevant agile tools and techniques to support the teams in removing obstacles and blockers in the delivery of our client commitments.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary delivery contact for clients and senior internal stakeholders, building strong relationships and ensuring programme direction, expectations, and outcomes are consistently aligned.
- Oversee programme management efforts, coordinating multiple interconnected workstreams to ensure alignment and successful delivery.
- Maintain and track progress on initiative roadmaps, assisting teams in monitoring the delivery of capabilities and meeting milestones.
- Coordinate with engineering and platform teams to ensure 10x deliverables (e.g., environment implementation and functional features) are planned and delivered, without directly managing technical execution.
- Drive process improvements and define best practices for client engagement and delivery.
- Use tools like Jira and Confluence to track programme-level progress, risks, and dependencies.
- Lead internal projects and initiatives to support organisational goals and enhance operational efficiency.
- Shape and maintain client engagement blueprints and frameworks (e.g., in Confluence).
- Help the Client teams define and maintain the client implementation process.
- Collaborative attitude and willingness to contribute towards achieving common goals.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to engage and communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- A track record of proactively identifying and solving problems and always thinking two steps ahead to identify emerging risks and issues and pro-actively take steps to resolve them.
- Recent experience managing and influencing a diverse range of stakeholders, both internally and externally.
- Facilitated delivery meetings and steering committees which drive outcomes and value to the business and clients.
- Experience of defining and documenting processes using common tools and standard methodologies.
- Experience of developing and maintaining delivery plans, understanding the deliverables behind them in order to accurately track progress and risks.
- Advanced skills in using the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Skills in Atlassian products Confluence and Jira.
- Created and managed document libraries in SharePoint / OneDrive.
- Ability to operate at a programme level, balancing strategic visibility with the ability to dive into detail when necessary, without owning technical team leadership.
- Experience managing client-facing delivery programmes in an agile environment.
