Our beloved wine bar in the heart of Botley is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Manager to lead our friendly team and elevate our customer experience. We pride ourselves on offering a curated selection of wines, artisanal cheeses, and flavourful charcuterie, all served in a relaxed and stylish setting.
As our Wine Bar Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Leading and inspiring our team: Recruiting, training, and motivating staff to deliver exceptional service and product knowledge.
- Curating and managing our offerings: Working with suppliers and our group head chef to maintain and develop our wine list, cheese board, and charcuterie selections, ensuring quality and profitability.
- Ensuring smooth daily operations: Overseeing all aspects of the bar, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.
- Providing exceptional customer service: Building rapport with our clientele, offering recommendations, and resolving any queries or concerns with professionalism and grace.
- Driving sales and profitability: Implementing strategies to increase revenue, manage costs effectively, and achieve business targets.
- Maintaining licensing and compliance: Ensuring adherence to all relevant regulations and health and safety standards.
- Creating a vibrant and engaging atmosphere: Fostering a positive environment for both staff and customers.
We are looking for someone who is:
