Job Description
R Developer
Central London 2 days per week
We are looking for an R Developer to join an analytics business based in central London. They have a bespoke in house tool which is used for building advanced models to help their customers understand their return on investment from marketing spend.
As an R Developer you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the analytics platform. You will be designing and developing new features for the customers that they license the product to.
Some of the other responsibilities will include:
Develop and maintain cloud solutions, ensuring speed, scalability, and security
Assist in the development of core analytical products and solutions
Support analyst teams to automate processes and workflows
Collaborate with senior leadership to transform ideas into development plans
Work with development teams to ensure seamless integration of solutions
Required Skills and Experience:
Proven track record in developing high-performance, secure applications using R and R Shiny
Experience with core data science libraries (tidyverse, devtools, roxygen2, testthat, R6, nloptr)
Experience developing web-based tools using R Shiny
Knowledge of cloud computing (GCP or AWS) would be beneficial
Experience with relational databases (MySQL or Postgres)
Familiarity with Git and Docker
Strong communication skills to convey complex ideas to non-technical stakeholders
Experience with Python libraries
Interest in marketing analytics techniques (Multi-Touch Attribution, Marketing Mix Modelling)
