Course details:
- We are looking for motivated individuals with a willingness and enthusiasm to learn, who are excited to join the Research & Development function to carry out a range of operational and logistical activities in a dynamic environment required to support the delivery of medicine to clinical trial patients. No prior experience is required as you will be given full training.
Education required:
- Must have/be predicted three A levels at CCC or above or equivalent
- GCSE Mathematics and English (grade A*-C / 9-4) or equivalent
Language requirement: Written and spoken fluency in English
Duration: 4 years
Location: You will rotate between Harlow and Ware sites during this apprenticeship. You must live within a 60-minute commute of the site location on the day you start your apprenticeship as you are expected to be on site daily.
What will you do?
- Learn and apply the best practices in inventory management, demand and supply planning and logistics operational activities
- Coordinate the end-to-end supply chain process from sourcing and procurement, label creation, packaging, distribution and delivery of materials and medicines, including warehousing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a timely and smooth flow of medicines and materials, meeting customer demands and regulatory requirements
- Plan and execute operational activities such as production scheduling, packaging, and labeling
- Use data for analysis and reporting to support decision making and process optimization
- Contribute to implementation of continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency
- Participate in projects related to sustainability, cost reduction, and process improvement
