The Content Enrichment Specialist will review video content according to guidelines and provide research and editorial services regarding current pop culture video content. They will utilize their passion for pop culture and social media trends to identify patterns and provide insight on the digital landscape. This role requires adaptability to pivot in a fast-paced environment, the ability to work as an individual contributor, and contribute to the team’s overall success. Excellent communication skills, responsiveness, organization, flexibility and time management are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and partnerships to deliver editorial feedback and research on video content.
- Review video content to ensure compliance with provided guidelines to meet clients’ goals and scope of deliverables.
- Identify patterns or trends in video content, while adhering to client guidelines.
- Report to agreed-upon shifts on time, with all appropriate communication methods open and complete shifts in accordance with guidelines and scope of deliverables.
- Attend company, manager, and team meetings as needed/required.
- Evaluate and assess the assigned number of videos required to meet daily deliverables.
- Apply a keen awareness of the cultural and political climate to all work.
- Participate in and encourage the growth of 1021’s culture both within the company and outside of it.
- Utilize company and client-approved AI tools and policies into project workflows and identify emerging AI trends.
- Special projects as needed.
- May be required to work public holidays and weekends.
Required Experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in relevant job or industry.
- Deep familiarity with the cultural and political climates in the UK region.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working remotely and within multicultural teams.
- Experience with content moderation, content review, curation, or similar roles.
- Knowledge of content review guidelines and best practices.
- Experience with copywriting and proofreading, preferably with a focus on entertainment content.
- Comfortable working with Google Suite, with spreadsheets and other data management tools.
- Flexibility to adapt to changes in guidelines, workflows, and tools.
- Strong understanding of digital streaming products, particularly video and its ecosystem.
- The ability to review information with an analytical and objective mindset in a fast-paced environment.
- A keen interest in/knowledge of pop culture, social media trends and creators, and trending video content.
- Strong familiarity with memes, hit songs and content trends in pop culture including music, dance, gaming, beauty, fashion, film, TV, pets, comedy, sports, and other verticals.
- Familiar with popular social media platforms including YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook, X, Twitch, Clubhouse, etc.
