Job Responsibilities
- Inspect components dimensionally and visually based on drawings and datasheets in line with current processes and procedures.
- Review and report on product quality non-conformance reports (NCRs) and system failures to drive continuous improvements and reduce failure costs.
- Verify that equipment manufactured, assembled, tested within the facility conforms to applicable specifications and agreed customer requirements.
- Maintain quality relationships with key functions of the company, including fulfilment, engineering, projects and procurement.
- Support development and maintenance of the local Quality Management System.
- Compliance with project HSSE Plan, Quality Plan and related requirements.
- Review/Approve or reject all supplier documents in ERP system.
- Inspect consumable components (Verification, dimensional, etc) in accordance with standard part requirements and drawings.
- Perform receiving inspections of incoming materials and/or products, customer property.
- Support the warehouse on traceability issues.
- Assist the calibration team in doing in-house calibration and verification of outsourced calibration activities.
- Manage efforts to reduce the Cost of Poor Quality (CoPQ) by implementing effective solutions in collaboration with relevant teams.
- Support global quality standards, objectives, and goals.
Qualifications and Training
- ISO 9001 or API Q1 certification would be advantageous.
- Counterbalance Forklift certificate (B1).
- Experience in the usage of gauges, such as calipers micrometers and hardness testers to measure and inspect products (metric and imperial).
- Experienced in manufacturing quality, quality control, quality assurance.
- NDE experience would be advantageous.
